Making Goodlord the home of RentTech
From property management platforms to homeowner apps, proptech has exploded onto the technology scene. But for lettings platform Goodlord, one critical area was being overlooked.
Despite more than four million households living in rented accommodation, the rental sector was being ignored — landlords and lettings agents were relying on paper to manage 90% of their processes.
Goodlord set out to change this, briefing Wildfire to help establish ‘RentTech’ as a new industry category, separate from proptech.
Our campaign made Goodlord the authority for all things property rental.
Through the creation of a branded supergraphic we mapped the growing RentTech sector, establishing the new category in the minds of technology and business media.
Using data from Goodlord’s platform, we hijacked the national news agenda, highlighting the urgent need to digitally transform — offering up RentTech as the go-to solution.
In just under 12 months, Wildfire generated 50+ pieces of tier one national coverage, including City AM, The Express, Evening Standard, I, ITV News, The Telegraph, and The Times.
