You’re hired! Could you be Wildfire’s first apprentice?

Wildfire is launching its first apprenticeship programme to attract the next generation of young diverse talent into the creative world of PR.

We’re joining thousands of businesses from different sectors across the UK that have already provided more than 700,000 apprenticeships during the last academic year.

I’ll be working in partnership with the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) — the UK’s leading professional PR body — to find a candidate with strong communication skills, a love for the media and a genuine interest in tech.

Based at our river-side office at Kingston upon Thames, the successful applicant will work closely with the Wildfire team, devising and implementing creative PR campaigns for some of the biggest and most influential tech companies around.

The PRCA will also play an active role in the learning programme, offering a Level 4 Public Relations Assistant Diploma upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

This opportunity is fully funded by the government and offers on-the-job training for the successful candidate looking to kickstart their career in tech PR.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for a young person from any background to show us their enthusiasm and talent for PR and technology. All we ask is that they’re enthusiastic, full of ideas and can communicate in a way that will grip an audience.

Historically, Wildfire’s talent pool has consisted of university graduates and those already working in PR. By adding apprenticeships to our recruitment strategy, I’m hoping to broaden our search for the very best talent to help our agency thrive.
