It’s events season for the electronics industry…

Electronics Design Show

What: Created by Findlay Media, the Electronics Design Show showcases all aspects of electronics design under one roof. Delegates get the chance to attend conferences, free practical workshops and exhibitions demonstrating cutting edge technology. And you don’t just get the benefit of attending one event; the Electronics Design Show is collocated with its sister event – Engineering Design Show. Alex Perryman, Senior Account Manager at EML Wildfire, will be at the show on Wednesday 2nd October.

As one of the country’s top 10 tech PR agencies EML Wildfire likes to keep a presence at Electronics shows, and ‘do the rounds’. If you see Alex there give him a wave!

Engineering Design Show

What: Sister to the Electronics Design Show, the Engineering Design Show focuses on a broad range of themes and topics around the requirements and realities of design engineering within the UK. With subjects ranging from IP through to electronics in F1, the conference will bring together high profile speakers from across industry and academia.

Who: The show is aimed at design engineers, giving them the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and expertise.

International Electronics Forum 2013

What: The 22nd Annual Electronics Forum organised by Future Horizons is an opportunity to connect with world leading electronic and semiconductor companies and CEOs. The forum provides the opportunity to share ideas and gain further industry insight in an effort to help shape future decisions and investments.

Who: IEF is aimed at those in the electronics and semiconductor sectors. Future Horizons will once again be organising an array of influential speakers, experts and ‘thought leaders’ in their chosen field, to deliver a diverse programme of presentations. British Engineering Excellence Awards:

What: As one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, the British Engineering Excellence Awards (BEEAs) aim to promote the quality of engineering design within the UK, and to demonstrate the power of UK innovation to the world.

Who: The BEEAs, which emphasise innovation and effectiveness in order to allow smaller companies to compete on an equal footing with larger ones, welcome entries from a wide range of businesses involved in electronics and engineering design. With five nominations for EML Wildfire clients we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed.
