Science of the stunt

For many non-PR and marketing folk, the perception persists that stunts, from flash mobs to creating the world’s biggest pizza, are what PR ‘is’. While that may be a bit of a misconception, there is no doubt that a well executed PR stunt can make a real impact and live long in the memory.

So what types of stunt actually deliver the best results? We endeavoured to find out.

Using an independent list of the best PR stunts from 2015 and 2016, the labs team analysed each stunt for total global coverage, social mentions, likes and views to determine the overall effectiveness of a range of PR stunts.
