Wildfire hits the streets of Surbiton

Posted by Debby Penton on 1st October 2010

Despite being positioned in a veritable wind-tunnel at the Surbiton Festival on Saturday, the market-trader skills of Danny and Louise and artistic face painting talents of Alizia and Debby won out last Saturday, raising over £350 towards Action for Children’s Byte Night event.

Perfectly attired in scarves and puffa-jackets, Danny and Louise exercised their extreme vocal abilities to attract many technology-obsessed Surbitonites desperate to get their hands on some fabulous products available on our gadget tombola.  (Thanks to our generous clients Jabra and Humax for their donations.)

Having enticed the Dads with the gadgets, Alizia and Debby kept their children happy, turning them into butterflies, spidermen and a menagerie of animals and monsters with their face painting skills.

As well as raising some much needed money towards our £2,000 target, the chilly weather also helped us acclimatise in readiness for sleeping outside on Friday 8th October.

Don’t worry, there is still plenty of time to donate and support us, just follow this link.
