It’s been a busy October for EML Wildfire and our clients. In between working on a number of high profile launches for our clients, this month we have been doing the following.
- Joe McNamara and Richard Lambert attended the ‘Little Miss Geek’ book launch in support of Belinda Palmer’s efforts to increase the number of women working in technology.
- Richard Parker travelled to Bratislava for the International Electronics Forum 2012, on 3rd-5th October.
- Alex Perryman and Andrea Berghall held packed London and Munich press days on 15th and 18th October to relaunch multicore microcontroller and home grown success story XMOS.
- Our very own Eleanor Dobson spent a day editing at the Royal Society’s edit-a-thon on 19th October. A day dedicated to editing and improving Wikipedia articles about women in science. She even managed to bag an interview by the Times.
- The BEEAs took place on 25th October with Nujira winning ‘best electronic product’ and Amantys ‘start-up of the year’. Cambridge Design Partnership and Wolfson Microelectronics were also shortlisted for awards.
