Fuze appoints Wildfire to deliver integrated communications across Europe

London, UK, 21st March 2016: Global voice, video and collaboration provider Fuze has appointed Wildfire as its European communications agency to help the company meet its ambition of becoming the global leader in the delivery of ‘mobile first’, cloud-based Unified Communications.

Wildfire is working hand-in-hand with Fuze’s media agency Pulse, providing the market insight and creative content to drive communications and lead generation activities across all earned, owned, shared and paid platforms.

Wildfire’s remit initially covers the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Nordics. The programme will see Wildfire leading its European partner network through a central content and campaign strategy and agency co-ordination, as well as on the ground media relations in the UK.

“In addition to having solid experience and understanding of the UC market, Wildfire impressed me with their shared ambition and passion for our business”, commented Tom Pressley, Marketing Director, EMEA for Fuze. “The agency’s content-led approach to communications truly integrates across the marketing mix and, with its proven European network approach, will be a key partner in growing the Fuze brand in EMEA.”

“Despite being talked about for two decades, Unified Communications has failed to deliver on its promise,” commented Louise Andrews, Associate Director at Wildfire and lead on the Fuze account. “It was clear from the outset that Fuze has a truly fresh approach to business communications technology and is set to be a highly disruptive player in the market. It’s refreshing to work with such an ambitious brand that sees the value in truly integrated communications.”

Fuze recently closed $112 million in funding led by growth equity investor Summit Partners, which is being used to fund its aggressive global expansion programme and support continued investment in innovation, with a specific focus on simplifying enterprise communications. The company rebranded from ThinkingPhones to Fuze in February 2016, at the time of the growth investment.
