Foot in mouth

Posted by putsimply on 28th March 2011

We all do it, say things that we wish we could take back  but don’t we revel in it when a presenter gets it all wrong on air.  It is so difficult because one can be stating the bleeding obvious but it all seems to come out wrong – EML’s annual quote awards thrive on this premise.

Sport is rife with blooper moments, as Colemanballs celebrates , and you would think that there would be certain phrases that the sports presenter would avoid like the  plague. So why, oh why, did one of the commentators at the Boat Race on Saturday say, “Cambridge has got its kit off”. Naked rowing, now there’s an interesting thought. Rowlocks away.
