Shifting perceptions of AV tech.
Kinly is an audio-visual (AV) specialist that designs business workplace communication set-ups. For many IT decision-makers (ITDMs), AV is viewed as infrastructure, the technical aspect of office life for meeting rooms, screens, microphones, and cameras.
But through hundreds of AV installations, Kinly knew this tech offered businesses much more.
To create greater demand for its workplace AV solutions rather than standalone deployments, Kinly needed to change the perception of AV among ITDMs, positioning it as ‘business critical’ for workplace productivity, retention, and financial growth.
So we launched a campaign designed to reframe workplace AV through a human and commercial lens, giving ITDMs a new way to take AV into the boardroom.
Enter the Art of Productivity.
From workplace experiment to immersive exhibition
At the heart of our campaign was a nationwide workplace experiment that proved immersive visual environments can improve workplace performance.
We exposed 1,000 employees to different workplace environments, from bland office visuals to iconic works of art displayed on Kinly AV.
Using AI-powered facial recognition and eye-tracking, we captured micro-expressions, attention spans, and emotional responses, proving that creative visual environments (powered by AV) lifted mood, sharpened focus, and increased employee engagement.
An immersive art gallery brought our findings to life at the London Stock Exchange — one of the most recognisable symbols of business performance, investment, and growth.
Iconic artworks were reimagined as interactive 3D experiences using Kinly’s AV tech for journalists, prospects, and B2B influencers. The Scream audibly screamed. The Mona Lisa explained Kinly’s products to visitors.
The exhibition was the centrepiece of an integrated comms and marketing campaign, spanning media engagement, interactive ebooks, immersive audio guides, and digital content.
Changing perceptions. Delivering growth.
Our Art of Productivity campaign successfully repositioned Kinly as a workplace transformation partner, not just an AV supplier — putting the focus on productivity, employee experience, and business performance.
We took Kinly from #4 to #1 in media share of voice, generating 80+ pieces of targeted coverage by elevating our message into workplace transformation, without losing relevance with AV and tech media.
Specialist titles covered technical innovation, business publications focused on productivity, and performance. Exclusives and embargoed pitching maximised feature pieces.
The interactive art exhibition was also key to generating a pipeline of new business opportunities by attracting 200+ prospect and customer visitors, with digital assets also capturing leads and feeding directly into lead generation.
More importantly, the campaign gave Kinly a distinctive platform to lead an entirely new conversation around how better-designed workplace experiences can improve employee mood, focus, and collaboration.
“I loved everything about this work. The concept, the insights, the e-guide, but more than anything, the way it was launched with the
art gallery and the audio guide”.
Meghan van Zyl - VP of Global Marketing, Kinly
