Real Wireless

Real Wireless delivers independent advice in every aspect of wireless, from technical to commercial. The PR challenge was to raise the profile of an organisation that had never done PR work before, attract attention ahead of Mobile World Congress, generate sales leads, but importantly to maintain technical credibility.

Our Approach

Real Wireless has an enviable pool of experts, so Wlidfire proposed a ‘Wireless Manifesto’; a report compiled from the knowledge of Real Wireless’ experts, to spell out the challenges facing the industry in 2014.

What we did

  • Content on the Real Wireless website
  • Press release predicting a ‘perfect storm’ for operators ahead of the world’s biggest telecom show
  • Linked into a direct mail and social media campaign
  • Talking-head video

We needed something to get attention ahead of Mobile World Congress, something that would showcase our expertise without compromising our integrity or coming across as too lightweight. EML Wildfire proposed the idea of the Wireless manifesto and then worked with us to interview our experts and pull the content together. The result is a document that has not only generated some great PR results, but some genuine business leads and interest from some of the biggest names in the telecoms industry.
