Episerver is an international provider of web content management systems and e-commerce solutions. Within this highly competitive market, the biggest PR challenge for Episerver was highlighting the product’s defining features and differentiating the brand through original and insightful thought leadership.

Our Approach

Over the last three years, Wildfire has helped reposition Episerver as a thought leader within the mobile marketing and ecommerce space. This was achieved through the development of a longstanding Mobile Commerce report, designed to provide an annual review of the mobile marketing industry and to offer insights for the year ahead.

Key to the success of this report was the inclusion of a detailed benchmark study, which examined the websites of twenty top UK retailers and compared everything from mobile responsiveness through to application load time.

Receiving widespread coverage and analysis, the annual report is now a respected staple of the mobile marketing industry. This has ultimately helped Episerver to secure its place as a leader within the mobile and ecommerce marketplace.

Following on from the annual report, Wildfire has subsequently developed a series of vertical benchmark studies that were designed to focus in on key customer sectors. These vertical reports are now helping Episerver to raise further brand awareness and to penetrate entirely new market sectors including retail, travel and IT.

The mobile commerce reports have been instrumental in helping us raise our brand awareness and generate interest from our target markets. This year we are looking to expand the benchmark to our new markets to build on its success.
