Kuato Studios, one of the UK’s leading developers of educational video games, has appointed technology PR agency EML Wildfire to build awareness of the studio and its upcoming educational games throughout 2014.
EML Wildfire’s remit is to raise the overall Kuato Studio profile with schools, parents and players, and the gaming industry at large. To achieve this EML Wildfire devised a thought leadership platform focusing on the role of games in education and learning alongside a series of creative launches designed to drive downloads and awareness of their new games.
Sian Priest, COO, commented: “We were really excited by the innovative ideas and approach that the EML Wildfire team put forward in their proposal. Not only did it show a real understanding of the industry and our target markets, but we felt they really understood the vision for our business too. The campaign they put together is designed to build our reputation as a leader in developing top quality games with real educational value that people will really want to play and I look forward to seeing the results.”
Debby Penton, Director at EML Wildfire, added: “Kuato has strong roots in using technology to aid learning and student engagement, as well as video games design, placing it perfectly at the heart of the discussion around the use of games within education. However, this is still a new area for schools and parents who are trying to make sense of how kids passion for games can be harnessed for real educational benefit. This is where we see a real opportunity for Kuato to build its market position.”
