Exasol buys into Wildfire’s bold tech PR storytelling

Posted by Paula Fifield on 2nd October 2019

Exasol, the analytics database, has appointed Wildfire as its agency of record for the UK.

The Wildfire team’s tech and corporate communications brief centres on helping Exasol to amplify its reputation as the platform of choice for organisations who want to transform how they work with data and quickly and easily turn it into a source of value.  Wildfire will support Exasol in capitalising on its rapid international growth by driving awareness of the brand and telling its corporate and innovation stories to technology buyers, business decision makers and the investor community.

“Exasol has a formidable heritage in data analytics and the ambition to become a leading voice in the UK market. Finding a PR partner that could match that ambition whilst sharing our core values of honesty, openness and respect was absolutely critical in this process,” commented Carla Gutierrez, global communications manager for Exasol. “Wildfire showed real understanding of the heart of Exasol’s brand and demonstrated a compelling way to build our profile by using storytelling to bring our brand and success stories to life.”

Chris King, Agency Development Director at Wildfire said: “Data analytics is a real industry hot topic but so much of the tired PR narrative is focused on the exponential growth of data and how much organisations are struggling to manage and make sense of it. This lacks imagination, isn’t news and, as a result, nobody is getting any real cut-through. By taking a fresh, bold approach that focuses on real insights and the human stories that bring data to life we will help Exasol to engage a wider business and technical audience, differentiate from the competition and really take advantage of the huge market opportunity.”
