Wildfire restructures for growth

Posted by admin on 4th November 2015

Wildfire has today announced a significant restructure designed to ramp up growth in 2016 and beyond. Board director Debby Penton takes up the position of Managing Director and, with it, the day-to-day management of the agency, while Richard Parker, founder and former managing director, assumes the role of CEO.

Debby Penton will head up Wildfire’s senior management team, which includes Lorraine Jenkins – the original founder of Wildfire PR – David Marsden, Andrew Shephard and Paula Fifield. The team will be bolstered by the promotion of Louise Andrews and Chris King to Associate Director, who have both been with the agency for 10 years.

Richard Parker commented: “We have made changes to our structure that will help us take full advantage of the skills and experience of all our senior people. The promotion of Debby Penton to MD and the creation of a management team is a positive change that I’m confident will ensure Wildfire achieves the next step in the agency’s development.”

Debby Penton commented: “The traditional role of PR is long gone. Businesses are looking for agencies that can add value to every element of the marketing mix and Wildfire is ideally placed to meet this demand. This restructure goes hand-in-hand with the evolution of our service proposition, as we develop a multi-disciplinary agency that adds value to every element of the marketing mix for our clients by building awareness, engaging prospects and, ultimately, driving sales. While we achieved solid growth in the last 12 months, our new structure and proposition means we can really move to the next level in 2016.”

Wildfire is an independent technology PR agency, based in Kingston-Upon-Thames. In the last financial year, the agency grew by 27 per cent, with new clients secured across the enterprise IT, electronics, consumer tech and digital marketing sectors. Recent wins include William Hill Online, Violin Memory, Acxiom, Axiell, Waze and Artmotion. In 2011, Wildfire PR and EML (Electronics Marketing Limited) merged to form EML Wildfire, which rebranded last year to Wildfire.
